          To earn a spot in the Style Fashion Week calendar is no doubt an accomplishment, but what matters even more is how a designer utilizes that privilege.

          Taiwanese designer and former Project Runway participant, Malan Breton, ran with this opportunity.

          Presenting his Fall Winter 2017 collection at the Madison Square Garden Theater, Breton orchestrated an exhibition of talent and beauty, opening his show by seducing the crowd with a choreographed ballroom dance. The heavy, grey concrete backdrop transported viewers to what looked like a public library or an old bank with large pillars soaring through the supposedly mile-high ceilings.

          The show filled the theater with grace.
