          Alexandra Chando, who played “As the World Turns’” Maddie Coleman from 2005 to 2010, will be heading back to primetime.

          The actress will guest star in episode eight of The Vampire Diaries titled “We Have History Together.” Playing the role of a young doctor named Tara, Chando’s character will interact with Stefan and Damon as they continue their commitment to Cade by testing Tara’s morals.
