          Milla Jovovich was born on December 17, 1975, in Kiev, Ukraine, to Galina Loginova, a renowned Soviet actress, and Bogi Jovovich, a Yugoslav pediatrician.

          She lived in the USSR briefly before moving to the United States with her parents in 1979.

          Modeling and Early Acting Career

          In the 80s, Jovovich's parents worked as caretakers for filmmaker Brian De Palma.
